Problem Statement
Legal professionals spend significant time on manual research, document review, and drafting. Existing tools were fragmented, difficult to navigate, and lacked structured workflows.

User Research
We onboarded 8 legal professionals, including independent lawyers, firm associates, and tax practitioners, and held ongoing feedback sessions to understand their daily operational challenges, workflow gaps, and process bottlenecks.

Handles tax notices and compliance, needing OCR-powered analysis and faster drafting.
Lawyers spend 40%+ of their workday on administrative tasks, with nearly 20% spent on legal research. With information spread across multiple tools and repetitive manual workflows, valuable time is lost on work that could be faster and simpler.
This increases costs, slows decision-making, and leaves less time for high-value legal work. The challenge was to create a single source of truth that brings research, drafting, document analysis, and workflow execution together.
Before designing complex screens and individual features, I built a centralised scalable Design System specifically for data-dense legal environments to ensure structural and visual consistency.
Components
Designed reusable UI Components, such as buttons, inputs, cards, and tables, to ensure consistency across the product.
Patterns
These combinations of components created patterns that support common user tasks and workflows.
Each feature came with its own UX challenges, from complex workflows and information overload to discoverability and usability. I used UX research, user flows, information architecture, interaction design, and usability testing, combined with AI-assisted tools, to understand and solve these challenges.
After validating workflows through user feedback and multiple iterations, I created high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma MCP and Claude code, focusing on clear information hierarchy, intuitive navigation, efficient task flows, and meaningful AI interactions.
