Exploration
User Research
We onboarded 8 legal professionals, including independent lawyers, firm associates, and tax practitioners, and held ongoing feedback sessions to understand their daily operational challenges, workflow gaps, and process bottlenecks.

1. Independent Lawyer
Conducts case research and drafting, seeking faster legal insights and streamlined workflows.
2. Legal Associate
Works across extensive legal documents, requiring faster collaboration and reliable references.
3. Tax & Compliance Practitioner
Handles tax notices and compliance, needing OCR-powered analysis and faster drafting.
Lawyers spend 40%+ of their workday on administrative tasks, with legal research accounting for nearly 20% of work hours. Fragmented tools and manual workflows reduce productivity, increase costs, and take time away from high-value legal work. They needed a single source of truth for research, drafting, and workflow execution.
Before designing complex screens and individual features, I built a centralised scalable Design System specifically for data-dense legal environments to ensure structural and visual consistency.

Components
Designed reusable UI Components, such as buttons, inputs, cards, and tables, to ensure consistency across the product.
Patterns
These combinations of components created patterns that support common user tasks and workflows.

After validating workflows and Information Architecture through multiple iterations, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes with Figma MCP and Antigravity IDE were created to simplify legal workflows with clear hierarchy, intuitive navigation, and AI-assisted interactions.

Through continuous feedback loops, and AI models trained on user behaviour patterns, the product delivered high user engagement and contextual outputs. Advanced multilingual capabilities, combined with an intuitive and professional user interface, significantly reduced operational friction, improved usability, and built immediate trust in AI-generated results.
